"A cool concept that provides a gorgeous and unique decoration for your home"

-- Manufacturer's Description --

The KFISI Magnetic Suspension Desk Light is neat, if a bit gimmicky and out of the two levitating lights, this is one I preferred. It’s not perfect, it has it’s flaws and I would prefer it even more if it didn’t require power since a cable takes away from the design, but there’s something undeniably cool about it floating there. There’s a lot of things to consider when it comes to placement; the power cord, if you have pets who will play with it and it also must be kept away from electronics. However, It’s a neat light that will impress friends and family.

As a light source, the KFISI LED Floating lamp is a bit of a failure. It doesn’t provide a lot of light, only a dim light, which is why it’s listed as a possible night light. It’s not a replacement for a desk lamp. What it does provide is a really cool piece of decor. It would look equally awesome on a bookcase or shelf, if you’re able to hide the wire.

Getting the light to levitate is tricky and a little scary. When you get it wrong the light bulb is SLAMMED down onto the base and on more than one occasion I pinched my finger a little. I wouldn’t recommend this for kids! It did only take me two attempts to place it the first time, so it’s not impossible. This light bulb style floating lamp has a flat base, which means it floats much more easily than some other styles and also has a larger ‘gap’ between the base and the bulb.

Once it is floating the KFISI Magnetic Suspension Lamp is extremely cool. I was never clear on whether it was supposed to rotate or not, but if it has any movement it will start to spin. This could be annoying to some people, as it creates changing shadows. It’s really neat to watch, it just depends on your personal tastes.

The quality isn’t all the way there on this Light Bulb design, but it’s not cheap looking either. It could use a little more finesse on things like the plastic underside at this price. For this levitating lamp, you’re really paying for the cool factor and the magnets.

I was able to leave it running all day without problems and I’ll update if I have any issues later, but for now I’m happy with the quality.

At $99.98 (at current time of review) the KFISI Magnetic Suspension light isn’t a simple buy for anybody on a budget. So you really need to consider if it’s right for you, keeping in mind what I said about the placement and possible downsides. You’re paying for the magnets and the coolness factor of it.

The bulb isn't the brightest, but the floating light looks very cool

This Magnetic Suspension Desk Lamp by KFISI is a cool design at a premium price. It would make a fantastic gift for any nerdy or science interested person, but be aware of the negatives and you can’t go wrong!

Pros:

+ Beautiful looking design.

+ The Levitation is really cool and fun to watch.

+ Makes a great premium gift.

+ Works well as a decor piece and talking point.

Cons:

- Cord is hard to hide and can interfere with the look of it.

- Doesn’t play well with pets or electronics and can be difficult to place because of that.

- Difficult to get to suspend and slams down in a scary way when you get it wrong.

Recommended: If you’re aware of the downsides I would recommend this, but it’s not one for budget queens, it’s a cool decor item or premium gift and for both those occasions it works well.

"Not only a cat grooming brush, but also a rotating windmill cat toy."

-- Manufacturer's Description --

I feel a little bad for the KZOBYD Cat Windmill Toy, because it’s a quality well-made item, but my cats just weren’t over the moon for it. I would rate it as ‘ok’ because of that quality and because each cat is unique and different cats like different things, but my three just weren’t having it.

To learn more about our Pet Testers, click here. (Or don’t, if you hate adorable photos of cats!)

Out of everything the Cat Windmill toy had to offer, only one aspect was successful, the spiked centre part. Bonnie really enjoyed chewing on that centre part and would put her whole mouth over it. It was often ruined though, by the suction cup not working well and the toy falling over. They recommend putting toothpaste on it to help clean their teeth, but mine would just lick it off, so I didn’t find that worked well.

The suction cup base of the KZOBYD rotating cat toy didn’t stick to my laminate flooring. I was able to get it to stick to hard plastic furniture and the wall, but it would fall off within three hours max. Suction cups are often like this, as they only really work well on very specific surfaces.

I loved the rotating windmill aspect of the toy, but my cats just didn’t care. I was able to get Archie to play with it exactly once (as featured on the video above), but even repeated coaxing didn’t interest them. I tried for more than a week and a half before giving up.

Though a cute idea, I also found the LED ball was difficult to activate, you had to really smack the toy for it to light up and most cats wouldn’t hit it that hard. I wasn’t sure if the catnip balls were safe to eat or combined with glue or something, so I didn’t feed them to my cats and left them in the toy alone, having the instructions mention if that’s safe would be a good idea!

the rotating Cat Windmill Toy sits with it's packaging, two catnip balls and LED ball.
The windmill cat toy comes with an LED ball and catnip balls.

The quality of the KZOBYD Turntable Windmill Cat toy was actually really decent. Sometimes cheaper cat toys have rough edges or dangerous glued one elements, not so here. The entire base and centre section are made of semi-hard silicone rubber, so it won’t hurt their teeth or gums. The plastic domes are set deep into the base and won’t accidentally come out.

It rotates smoothly and while it’s a little stiffer when sideways on a wall, it still turns pretty well. I really had no quibbles with the quality!

The value of this turning cat toy was so-so. At $17.99 it wasn’t expensive, nor cheap, but since they didn’t end up using it very much, the value lowered a lot. Given the good quality, the value was ok, but obviously your cat needs to like it or the money is wasted.

It’s one of the perils of purchasing cat toys is that you don’t always know how they will react. While I’ve come to know my cats' likes and dislikes over time, the KZOBYD windmill toy was a total wild card. Unfortunately, the gamble didn’t work out in their favour.

Pros:

+ Great Quality.

+ Unique Design that feels fun.

+ Cats loved chewing on the centre ‘spiked section’

+ Soft rubber won’t hurt them.

+ Mechanism is smooth and turns well.

+ Cute colours available.

Cons:

- My cats didn’t really love it.

- Unsure if catnip balls were safe to eat.

- Suction cup wasn’t effective.

- LED ball didn’t light up easily.

Recommended: I’m inclined to say yes based on the quality, but be aware that your cats might dislike it, as mine did. If you’re on a tight budget, stick to tried and tested cat toys, but if you’re looking to try something new, it’s not awful.

" Soft warm-white light illuminates the photo well. Small LED lights are like fireflies, waving their wings to bring you special photos, you will feel warm."

-- Manufacturer's Description --

I’m always looking for cute home additions and had hoped the Lwind LED Photo Clip String Lights might jazz up my new home. While there was a lot to like about them, they definitely have their flaws, most of which are caused by the cheap quality. I can’t imagine they’re any worse than most other lights like this on the market, but they aren’t as nice as I’d envisioned in my head.

The biggest thing I disliked about them was that the wires/clips seemed to twist to the side slightly. While some sat flat, some of them turned a bit and left the photos sitting diagonally. Depending on the look you want, these could be your ideal clip string lights, but I wanted them flat as shown in the product photos.

Other than that they worked fine. The Lwind LED photo clips are lit from behind by an LED and I had no issues with it running through batteries or becoming hot. It does take 3 x AA batteries which is quite a lot. It can be set to flash or stay static. I prefer cool lighting to these warm-hued lights.

They do like quite cute hanging up, especially in the dark and they would make a good addition to a pegboard or bulletin board.

These String Lights are perfect for hanging polaroid style or Instagram printouts

The quality of these photo string lights was not top-notch, but simply ok. While overall it was fine, it did have a strong plastic smell. The lights are glued into the photo clip casing (presumably with hot glue) and one of them had come loose. However, when popped back in it stayed put unless pulled, so it wasn’t a massive issue. It’s clear though, that they are pretty cheaply made.

At $19.99 (current price) I feel the Lwind LED Photo Clip String Lights are a tad overpriced. When considering the quality and effectiveness, I would expect them to cost about $12.

The Lights have a warm hue set behind the clips

Lwind LED Photo Clip String Lights don’t have the highest quality, given their price, but they do look cute and could be a good option for some folks.

Pros:

+ Cute look.

+ Ability to hang photos.

+ Good for bulletin or peg boards.

+ Battery powered.

Cons:

- Clips twist and display some photos at an angle.

- Warm light is not my preference.

- Cheap quality for the price.

Recommended: If you have a pretty tight budget, no, but if you like the look and take into account what I say, they could be right for you.
